Overview

Position Overview
The Director of Field Talent Acquisition is responsible for validating current staffing needs and producing weekly forecasts
for the field. He/she will also be develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.


Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to discover talent and build a strong employment brand, as well as to ensure great
relationships with both candidates and employees.

 

Qualifications

Experience and Education Requirements
• Proven experience as a talent acquisition manager.
• Experience in recruiting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, human resources, or relevant field.


Other Qualifications
• Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
• Proficient in the use of social media and job boards.
• Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases.
• Excellent communicator.
• Well-organized.
• A leader and strategic thinker.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for overall management and oversight of the TA Manager(s) and recruiters.
• Work with the TA team and Operations to validate current staffing needs and produce weekly forecasts.
• Responsible for managing the Critical Market recruiting, scheduling, and coordination of resources.
• Advise senior leadership on strategies for critical markets and implement action plans.
• Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans for the field.
• Lead employment branding initiatives.
• Work with Managers and Recruiters to develop sourcing strategies to fill open positions and anticipate future
needs.
• Work with Learning and Development to build recruitment and selection processes. (interviews, screening calls
etc.)
• Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience.
• Assist in employee retention and development.
• Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.
• Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.

 

Travel Requirements
Approximately 30%

 

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as
computers, phone, copiers, faxes, and filing cabinets.
