Overview

The Vice President, Talent Attraction is responsible for delivering the talent acquisition strategy and model to focus on driving a strong candidate pool to deliver the headcount and talent needs of the organization in alignment with the business plan. The purpose of this position is to build a strong talent pipeline and ensure an outstanding candidate experience to attract high quality talent to the organization.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Master’s Degree in a field directly related to the position or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive management responsibility directly related to the position.
  • Proven work experience as a VP of Talent Acquisition or similar senior-level HR position.
  • Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluation.

 

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of Candidate Management Systems and Human Resources software.
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-management abilities.
  • Proficient with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent planning and organization skills

  • Evaluate and develop an effective talent acquisition strategy for the organization.
  • Proactively work with the business leaders to identify and address hiring needs.
  • Responsible for weekly forecasting and review of headcount needs and action plans with the business leaders.
  • Evaluate and refine sourcing and selection procedures.
  • Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates.
  • Oversee and improve overall candidate experience.
  • Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs.
  • Identify and prioritize hiring events in each market to establish a strong employer brand.
  • Research and recommend new sourcing tools and recruiting software.
  • Responsible for reporting on open requisitions, hires, and top resources for applicants.
  • Work with Legal to assist with recruiting Foreign Guest Workers.
  • Oversee the strategy and management of the Critical Market program.
  • Proactively evaluate best practices for acquiring talent, both internally and externally.
  • Prepare and manage the department expenses to Budget.
  • Recommend and work with Marketing and the SVP of HR to manage a social media strategy to reinforce the brand and attract applicants.
