The Regional Vice President (RVP) is the primary business leader for an assigned geographic region. This Leader is directly responsible for the overall financial and operations results, as measured through KPIs, standards of operations, and assets that exist within the assigned region. The RVP represents MasterCorp with all clients and ensures that the values and culture of the Company are communicated throughout the region. By providing leadership and directions, the RVP manages the Senior Regional Directors and Regional Directors and coaches them daily to achieve assigned goals and foster a positive work environment with our customer(s). The RVP is responsible for ensuring standards are met regarding Associate selection, development, and retention for all Associates in the region. The Leader will directly supervise Senior Regional Directors/Regional Directors and partners with the Divisional Director of HR, Regional Recruiters, and Trainers within the assigned Region/Division.  The RVP must ensure the Company’s mission statement and values are followed, always motivated by the best interests of the Company, its employees and customers.


Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to develop, cultivate and maintain a high standard of excellence at each assigned site within the Region. Create and establish plans and actions to ensure each Senior Regional Director/Regional Director is meeting and exceeding set goals and objectives. Ensure site contractual obligations, company policies and procedures are followed. Inspire a positive culture at each site within the Region.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Minimum of ten years of progressive responsibility in housekeeping operations with successful large multi-site responsibility. 
  • A proven track record of driving strong performance and key field operations metrics.
  • Outstanding leadership skills. Inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead teams, train talent and effect change — track record of building talent and exceeding expectations.


Other Qualifications

  • Language Skills: Effective written and verbal English communication, bi-lingual Spanish a plus. 
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain a high level of financial understanding to include budget, KPI performance and service pricing.
  • Participates in the development of site and regional budgets.
  • Participates in monthly financial reviews, identifying key business influencers and explaining variances. 
  • Responsible for the customer/client relationship at the site level and at the regional level. Consistent meetings are required to proactively manage this critical relationship and identify challenges and foster the client/vendor relationship.
  • Establish and monitor performance goals, the basis of which are quality, timeliness, budgetary, workplace safety and retention for Senior Regional Directors/Regional Directors, Executive Housekeepers, Assistant Executive Housekeepers and other reports. Oversees performance of Corporate Director of Housekeeping when assigned within your Region.
  • Review weekly/monthly site budget performance and enforce recommendations for improvement. Holds site accountable for corrective actions and meeting budgeted Gross Profit.
  • Holds teams accountable and provides continuous feedback for measurable results and develop action plans with teams if key metrics aren’t being achieved.
  • Ensures consistent recruiting strategies are in place in each Region to ensure staffing levels are achieved and maintained well before high demand.
  • Active participation in the recruiting, selection, training and retention of Regional Directors and Executive Housekeepers.
  • Conduct Regional and Site visits as outlined by the Site Visit form. Ensure that the highest standard of cleanliness is in place.
  • Execute semi-annual Talent Reviews and Talent Assessment in conjunction with other regional leaders to ensure that the company is developing a talent for growth. Identifying talent is a key component to ensuring we are prepared for future growth.
  • Consistently and effectively communicate the company objectives to all Senior Regional Directors/Regional Directors through organized and scheduled conference calls and emails.
  • Build a professional relationship with resort management and other key members of the resort staff and maintains frequent communication with the resort team. Coach Senior Regional Directors/Regional Directors and Executive Housekeepers on developing and maintaining professional relationships with the resort management team.
  • Understand each resort’s contracts within the Region and be able to proactively ensure correct billing is taking place and build new business with new and existing clients.
  • Develop a customer-first culture and display professional behavior to MasterCorp clients and client owners and guests.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities within the Region
