  • Overview

    The HRIS and Compensation Manager is responsible for overseeing the Human Capital Systems and managing the design and development of compensation programs. Serves as the subject matter expert and super user to ensure data integrity, produce people analytics, and efficiency of system utilization.

     

    The purpose of this position is to plan and direct the organization’s ongoing HRIS administration to support short and long-range Human Resources goals. Leads the efforts to maximize UltiPro, iCIMS and other HR related systems to build an HRIS infrastructure capable of supporting the continued growth of the business and ensuring internal processes are efficient and effective. Manages the strategic development and ongoing administration of compensation programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness, market competitiveness, internal equity, compliance, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The HRIS & Compensation Manager must ensure Company mission statement and values are followed, always motivated by the best interests of the Company, its employees and customers.

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education Requirements

    • College degree or equivalent knowledge required
    • 3 years’ hands-on, advanced experience with HRIS/HRM systems required
    • Prior compensation analysis experience required
    • Prior experience with UltiPro required

    Computer Skills: Advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel. Experience as administrator of UltiPro HR System.

    • Ensure data integrity across the HRIS systems
    • Responsible for efficiently designing workflows in the system(s) to produce desired outcomes
    • Assist with managing third party relationships
    • Establish performance metrics, track vendor performance, and ensure customer satisfaction and product performance
    • Responsible for system upgrades, enhancements, data integration, and data tables
    • Work with HR leaders to establish dashboards, identify automation opportunities, develop reporting, and look for opportunities to enhance the functionality of existing programs
    • Establish standard operating procedures, functional documentation, and system documentation
    • Develop and provide training to end users
    • Use analytics to deliver business outcomes
    • Develop and oversee compensation programs for the company
    • Evaluate market surveys for use in ensuring a competitive pay structure
    • Age market surveys, as needed, to establish market rates for new hires and internal promotions
    • Assist Learning and Development with automating the merit and bonus incentive programs
    • Develop classification systems and define job levels and families in conjunction with Corporate HR
    • Design and implement compensation policies
    • Lead process improvements and recommend innovative solutions relating to HR system use
    • Write, maintain, and support BI reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
    • Develop technical documentation and user procedures, guidelines, processes to train end users on new features, processes and system functionality
    • Work closely with the Executive Leadership, HR & Payroll teams to ensure a collaborative approaching regarding HR system structure & ongoing improvement of processes
    • Evaluates and maintains a compensation structure and conducts job evaluations to recommend internal job placement in the appropriate level, title and FLSA classification.
    • Conducts ongoing compensation benchmarking and analysis to maintain competitive compensation programs and practices.
    • Acts as Project Lead on assigned HRIS projects related to implementations, designs and deployments.
    • Audit system data on a routine basis for accuracy, security, data integrity & compliance; may include internal & external audits of system data
    • Ensure the delivery of projects on time and on budget.
    • Ensure that leadership team is fully informed of risks, issues, challenges and provide solutions.
    • Assist end users with access issues, application errors, and data problems.  Perform research & testing for fixes to quickly resolve issues.
