    The HRIS and Compensation Analyst is responsible for assisting in the administration of the Human Resources systems including UltiPro modules for HR, Payroll and Benefits; iCIMS applicant tracking system; and other HR related systems, related projects and reporting. This position supports and administers the annual merit and bonus programs, performing job analysis reviews for new and existing positions, managing the overall salary structure, analyzing salary parity within job families and positions, staying current on federal/regional/market changes, updating salary ranges, and making recommendations regarding compensation strategies and changes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • Certified Compensation Professional credential preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years of compensation experience administering compensation programs

     

    Other Qualifications

    • Experience with UltiPro, Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), Business Intelligence and benefits administration, preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Working knowledge of compensation administration and compliance
    • Solid communication skills
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills

    Essential Functions

    • Ensure data integrity across the HRIS systems and use analytics to deliver business outcomes; able to effectively convey information in legible reports to HR and executive teams
    • Write, maintain, and support BI reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
    • Utilize Jira system to track end-user support and requests. Assist end users with access issues, application errors, and data problems.       Perform research & testing for fixes to quickly resolve issues.
    • Assist with HR system implementations, upgrades and special projects
    • Support compensation programs, system administration and related tasks for the company
    • Evaluates and maintains a compensation structure and conducts job evaluations to recommend internal job placement in the appropriate level, title and FLSA classification.
    • Conduct job analysis review and recommendations for all new and revised jobs
    • Conduct minimum wage and FLSA audits to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
    • Perform ad hoc compensation analysis as requested by business entities using internal and external salary statistics to recommend, develop and implement appropriate employee compensation structures, configure pay grades, evaluate job titles and ongoing reclassification
    • Evaluate and develop executive compensation and employee incentive plans to maintain and attract talent. Partner with HR teams to ensure compensation and bonus programs are competitive
    • Create and maintain job families, job codes, positions, and ranges in the system; assist in creating workflows for compensation processes
    • Assist in the planning, administration, analysis, and communication of the annual merit and bonus programs and ensure accuracy
    • Perform reviews of compensation related data during Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Identify errors and trends in data, conduct a cause analysis, and communicate to management
    • Evaluate market surveys for use in ensuring a competitive pay structure
    • Participate in salary surveys and develop annual Total Compensation summaries
    • Assist with miscellaneous compensation projects as assigned.
    • Stay current on compensation trends and tools; Conduct ongoing compensation benchmarking and analysis to maintain competitive compensation programs and practices.
