    Position Overview


    The Senior Director, Field Human Resources is responsible for Human Resources Field Operations nationally. This individual must have a proven track record of Senior and Executive Leadership across various functions and will have an ongoing partnership with the Senior Vice President HR, Senior Vice President Operations and Division Vice Presidents across MasterCorp’s national operation. In addition to having strong HR functional expertise, this individual must be a strong leader with exceptional interpersonal, relationship building, coaching, and problem-solving skills.


    • 15+ years of progressive growth and experience within HR roles with strong field operational focus.
    • A collaborative leader capable of partnering with all leaders at all levels in Operations
    • Proven track record managing multi-site locations, preferably in hospitality
    • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize initiatives and responsibilities simultaneously
    • Strong project management skills with a track record of success leading key initiatives from start to finish
    • Exceptional interpersonal, coaching and influencing skills


    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
    • MBA, Master’s in Human Resources, or related field preferred.
    • SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR certification preferred

    Essential Functions

    • Work closely with the SVP Operations, SVP Human Resources, and Division DVP’s to drive change and enable strategic business goals for Operations
    • Employee Relations lead for the field to provide guidance regarding broader HR implications with respect to employee related matters
    • Provide guidance and support for employee related matters, pro-actively evaluating the severity and appropriate intervention
    • Leadership thought partner for Operations leaders acting as trusted advisor, support and HR coach.
    • Responsible for creating and recommending the strategic vision for Field HR
    • Work with Learning and Development to prioritize the right training vehicles for HR policies, programs & initiatives for Operations
    • Work with SVP Operations and Division Leaders to proactively drive positive employee engagement
    • Lead divisional HR efforts to partner with leaders in enhancing our efforts for employee development to include coaching for employee development plans, talent reviews and succession planning
    • Lead divisional HR efforts to partner with leaders to recommend and implement employee recognition programs
    • Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of programs designed for Operations (absenteeism, referral, progressive discipline, performance management)
    • Responsible for evaluation of talent and structure for Field HR
    • Track and review all employee relations trends and matters with the SVP Human Resources on a regular basis
