The Financial Analyst II supports the Divisional Vice Presidents and Regional Directors on financial matters in the assigned regions, providing in depth analysis and decision support.  

     

    Why do we need you? We are seeking a number driven financial professional to provide quantitative analysis that will empower our leaders to make better business decisions. Additional responsibilities include reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) and issues on a consistent basis and various ad hoc projects.

     

    Typical duties to be expected include interpreting financial statements, understanding business drivers, and report on trends effecting the business. Additionally, this person will provide profitability analysis to improve the financial performance as it relates to both revenue and expenses. 

     

    The ideal person will possess strong presentation and communication skills, as well as solid business acumen and attention to detail.  Strong analytical and quantitative skills are the key.

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role of financial and operational analysis
    • Experience in Vena Reporting System (preferred)
    • Well-developed MS Excel skills–Macros, formulas, and visual graphics

    Other Qualifications

    • Strong grasp of basic accounting
    • Strong computer, verbal, and written skills required
    • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate effectively
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
    • Proven experience and heavy involvement in monthly forecast process and annual budget
    • Leadership and organizational skills (team orientation, flexible, adaptable)
    • Self-starter, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines.

    Essential Functions

    • Advise Division Vice President of Operations and Regional Directors, and recommend actions based on quantitative analyses
    • Performs weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly comprehensive business reporting, and provides recommendations into problem areas
    • Evaluates Regional financials by identifying outcomes and potential risks/opportunities
    • Provides creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance of the division
    • Provides analytical support for project work across the business including being a key member of strategic project team
    • Performs general and ad hoc analysis to support company growth, profitability and continuous improvements
    • Conduct business studies on past, present, and future performance
