Overview

The Laundry Production Manager responsibilities include directing and organizing daily workflow and production, determining production priorities: training, safety, performance evaluations, tracking of poundage, reporting, scheduling and supervising the personnel within the department. The purpose of this position is to oversee floor production of the laundry facility, including day to day operations and the laundering and delivery of product “on time” and “on quality” to each site within the specified portfolio.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Associate’s Degree in a field directly related to the job or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to analyze many variables and choose the most effective course of action.
  • Basic strategic thinking skills to be able to plan and schedule.
  • Ability to read, write and perform advanced math.
  • Proven ability to prepare written materials.
  • Articulate goals and action plans.
  • Handle unique and diverse work issues on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence.
  • Language Skills:  Effective written and verbal English communication, bi-lingual Spanish preferred.   
  • Computer Skills:  Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and/or related software.
