    Position Overview

    The Vice-President of Sales develops and implements sales strategies for all MasterCorp’s business entities.  This person will be responsible for staying ahead of market trends, market share movement and ongoing competitive hospitality analysis.  Growing our business is the premise behind this role; aggressive sales strategies and business relationships will be critical.

     

    Position Purpose

    The purpose of this position is to secure new business contracts with new clients and the expansion of business contracts with current clients.  The VP of Sales will collaborate with MasterCorp’s executive leadership team and other business leaders in the selling of MasterCorp and its entities to the hospitality industry. 

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or related field
    • 10 or more years of experience in sales and/or business development in the hospitality industry
    • Previous sales in a SERVICE Industry is required; B2B Service Sales

     

    Other Qualifications

    • Regional / Multi-state territory sales experience
    • Proven capability to initiate high-level contact with clients
    • Clear written and oral communication; Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Skilled in project management, proposal writing, and relationship management
    • Able to effectively manage organizational change; comfortable with multiple/changing priorities
    • Driven with ability to work independently

     

    Travel Requirements

    • Frequent – up to 50% of time

    Essential Functions

    • Represents MasterCorp to potential and current clients by in-person meetings/presentations, conferences, or calls
    • Involvement and ownership of key elements of the brand sales & marketing strategy and resulting components
    • Formulates sales presentations and proposals
    • Sales deployment design and goal setting/measurement
    • Key account management
    • Marketing plan development and expense budget management
    • Develops budgets and price estimates using MasterCorp and industry models
    • Facilitate the collection of data and information to be able to develop pricing proposals
    • Collaborates with the finance team to develop pricing models and pro forma analytics and to make decisions with regards to mergers, acquisitions, new business and additional services for existing businesses
    • Track and report on the status of all proposal components
    • Maintain a book of business or pipeline for all MasterCorp’s business lines in Salesforce
    • Establish and maintain on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential issues, to stay abreast of potential new business opportunities and to continuously sell the value of MasterCorp’s services to our clients
    • Lead and participate in client or potential client site visits
    • Attend client events such as annual conferences, summits, ARDA, sponsored golf events, etc.
