Overview

The Regional Sales Manager ensures sales growth through aggressive local and national market awareness and account growth. This position will understand the facility services industry from both a pricing and service delivery perspective – the single point of contact throughout the sales process. This position also maintains the customer relationship throughout the sales life cycle, protects the interests of MCS by keeping a high level of visibility and communication with the customer, as well as high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality, Facilities or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and/or facility service industry experience.

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Teams). Experience in learning and working with new software programs.
  • Excellent communications and mathematical skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrated ability to persuade an audience.
  • Exhibited ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Experienced in ability to write reports and business correspondence; as well as effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Strong team leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring.
  • effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.

  • Responsible for hitting sales targets in both revenue and profitability.
  • Maintain the customer relationship throughout the sales process and during service delivery as well. Salesforce pipelines are used along with metrics tracking to help with progress reports.
  • Develop, prepare and present comprehensive and competitive sales proposals. Continuously evaluate competitive activity and improves on sales technique to attain new accounts.
  • Maintain an awareness of the customers’ business environment and changing needs in order to resolve customer service issues effectively.
  • Responsible for organizing operational activities to ensure operational and financial performance is maintained, profit margins and revenue goals are achieved and other company goals are met or exceeded.
  • Create and reinforce a culture in the branch and at locations that places an emphasis on associate safety.
  • Ensure the Success of Branch Staff throughout region– Ensure a highly competent and a professional customer service and sales team.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to branch and support staff.
  • Create, coordinate and implement plans to achieve week-over-week sales growth.
  • Create awareness and reinforce with team that our attention and dedication to compliance is what sets us apart from our competition.
